Registration and Membership

If you plan on attending based on acceptance of a paper or panel proposal, you must first submit a proposal via the HERA 2014 Conference Portal. Once your paper or panel is accepted, a registration form will be sent to you.

Whether you plan on attending as a presenter, a panelist, an observing member, or a guest, you will need to fill out the following conference registration form.

If you are not a HERA member, (Membership runs from Jan. 1-Dec. 31) you must join by checking membership on this page. Send your completed registration form with a check made out in U.S. Dollars to: HERA, P.O. Box 715, Pacifica, CA 94044-4206.

2014 MEMBERSHIP FEES

_______ Joint 1-year membership is open to two individuals sharing the same household: $180

_______ Full time student membership: $65

2014 Conference Registration (All attendees must register for the conference.) This year, HERA will employ a tiered registration process.

EXPIRED Member Registration [11/15-12/7/13]: $175 (EXPIRED)

_______ Conference Registration: $225

EXPIRED Graduate Student Member Registration [11/15-12/7/13]: $75 (EXPIRED)

_______ Graduate Student Member Late Registration [12/9-12/31/13]: $80

_______ Graduate Student Member Conference Registration: $90

_______For a registered member to bring a guest for one day only, the fee for a one-day guest pass is $40.

Plenary Session Reception and Closing Luncheon fees are included in the conference registration fees for attendees. Please check if you will be attending one or both.

2014 Convention Participant: Registration fees must be postmarked by January 27, 2014, and must be in U.S. currency. Participants who have not paid the convention registration fee and membership dues by January 27, 2014, will be deleted from the printed convention program. HERA does not provide laptops or online connections. All presenters must be members of HERA.

Refunds: Requests for refunds must be made in writing and postmarked no later than January 27, 2014. Email requests for refunds to mgreen@sfsu.edu. A $50 service fee is deducted from all refunds. There will be no refunds for any reason after January 27, 2014. HERA is not responsible for any cancellations or other charges assessed by airlines, travel agents, online booking agencies, or other institutions.
